I’ve been getting my nails done at Venus for the past couple of months now—every 2 to 3 weeks—and I love it! Great location, and the staff is extremely kind and professional. Plus, it’s always nice to be greeted by name because they remember me. ☺️ My nail technician is Mey, and she knows my preferences so well! Today, we ventured outside my normal almond-filed nails to coffin; they turned out amazing! I 100% recommend this wonderful nail salon!

First, I called ahead and asked for a time to come in. When I came in, I was told to wait 10 minutes. I waited 30 and was sat after I asked how much longer they thought it would be. I’m just gonna post the pics so you can see for yourself. The pic with the grey sweater and pink nails is what I showed the lady I wanted. The pic with the slanted index and ring finger nail is what I got. I politely complained that the index and the ring finger nails were crooked when only the tip had been put on, and that they needed to be fixed. The nail tech abruptly got up and got the the manager to take over. Guess she couldn’t handle criticism. ‍♀️ While sitting with the manager, another tech came over and looked. They both started talking in their native language and laughing out loud. They continued to go back & forth having a good laugh. I can’t say that they were speaking about me, but it was literally right after the incident and they both looked at my fingers. I can tell you how rude and unprofessional that is. I found out from the manager that a white tip was used for length before getting the dip powder. She said I must’ve asked the first tech for a white tip. Now why would I do that? I don’t get my nails done often and didn’t even know they use different color tips. She said I should have gotten the clear one, but that she would try and cover up the white tips with the white dip powder. I still got charged full price, and guess what? I still tipped. Know why? B/c that’s how I roll. I don’t get loud and obnoxious, or curse people out. The manager still put in the work to try and fix the first tech’s mess, but I can guarantee you I will never go back.

Critical:QualityI paid $90 for these acrylic nails. the price isn’t the issue but the fact that she made my acrylic super thin is. I broke 2 nails, already. I got my nails done on Sunday, the 19th and it’s Tuesday December 21. I’m so disappointed. I’m very careful with my nails, and they wouldn’t have broken if they were thicker, they’re so thin that you can see the light shine through them. I paid $90 for these acrylic nails. the price isn’t the issue but the fact that she made my acrylic super thin is. I broke 2 nails, already. I got my nails done on Sunday, the 19th and it’s Tuesday December 21. I’m so disappointed. I’m very careful with my nails, and they wouldn’t have broken if they were thicker, they’re so thin that you can see the light shine through them. They shouldn’t have broken in two days.

Gel nails were done a week ago. Two nails actually chipped 2 days in. I didn’t really think my cuticles needed trimming because I had a manicure a couple of weeks before this one and they were looking fine. But I figured maybe she sees something I don’t. Now my cuticles are horrible and look dry even after mosturizing and the skin on one of my fingers was cut to deep and is sore and peeling. This place looks nice, the people were very nice but my manicure was not. I wish I had taken a before picture to show all the polish left on my skin.

I have been coming here for a couple months now. The lady who has been doing my nails (acrylic & gel polish) does a really nice manicure, but the pedi service falls a bit short. I only get pedi every other month, so I will still be coming but maybe try other technicians. The location, pricing and color selection is great.

I paid extra for gel manicure and pedicure. The lady who did my nails apparently was trying to hurry and didn’t let them dry under uv light for the whole 60 secs. She kept moving the light after 20-30 seconds. After I was concerned that nails were not dry and told her, she just dismissed me and said it’s was fine. Well, sure enough, by the time I got home, there were two nails that were smeared from not being properly cured under uv! And I can’t go back for a week now to get it fixed, because I’m out of town – wanted to have nice nails on vacation, but she ruined that with her hurry. I gave her a nice cash tip, shouldn’t have…

Lady seemed nice enough, but not a quality pedicure or polish. She cut my toe, made me bleed and thought I didn’t notice. I chose not to say anything because I wanted to see her character. Then the polish bottle was basically empty, but instead of going to get a new bottle she scraped out the last bit, leaving my toes unevenly polished. She didn’t paint down to the cuticle so it looks like I need my toes polished again. This was not a discounted service and I expect to get what I pay for. I did tip her because I believe what goes around comes around. I also know that I won’t take a second chance.

We called ahead for two pedicures, and they said come right on in. The facility was VERY clean, and I was very impressed by the sanitizing process they went through. The staff was friendly. They did a great job on our nails. We also purchased two cute bracelets that they had on display in a show case. I highly recommend this salon!
